I have no complaints with Rock Auto. I placed my order with them around 10am CST on October 17th. I chose standard shipping (for like $20 estimated on or around the 23rd) and had the parts in hand less than 24 hours later!!! That'll work! lol
Talked to the local Toyo dealer and they were around...
I'm actually getting my car fixed at a shop today (Deer strike from a few weeks ago). Gonna check with him first and see if it's something he would do, otherwise the dealer I bought the truck from has a fairly decent shop (not the dealer I mentioned earlier in this thread) and might do it for...
That's what I meant. After driving it daily over a period of 20-30,000 miles I hadn't really noticed it. Climbing back into it after a few months of driving my car and I noticed it immediately!
Yeah, I'm going to do some checking today. Need to find a place that can get me some new tires as...
When driving it daily you don't notice the slow decline in ride quality and stability. About a year and a half ago I got myself a car to handle the bulk of my daily driving and puttering around that didn't require any kind of hauling or offroading. Climb back in to the truck after a couple...
I hadn't realized the OEM parts were in that price range. Just expected new to be around $2-3k. Makes way more sense to just get oem and have someone local swap them on and do new tires at the same time. Would think it'd be pretty easy to get $4-500 for the old ones, at the least.
Here's the...
Hi all,
I've got a 2013 SCAB that's just over 80K on the mileage. The midperched stock 2.5's are really in need of a rebuild. My Toyo MT 315 70R18's are about wore off, but I'm starting to notice rubbing during tight turns and the ride, in general, is starting to feel really unstable at any...
"Hunt You Down Without Mercy"
Lyric out of the Metallica song 'All Nightmare Long'.
Believe me... it's dirty atm. The iphone camera didn't do the hoard of bug guts justice. hahaha ;-)
Hahaha.
Ok, pics as promised!
Just need to pull the light bar out from behind the grill, get the side inserts for the bumper, and get the whole damned thing cleaned up. Still amazes me, though, how a Raptor can look just as good dirty as it does freshly waxed! :-)
Well... I managed to finally get it installed. Only took about 4-5 times longer than the estimated "45 minutes" in the leaflet, but it's on there!
I was able to get a box end wrench through the frame on the sides like Busa suggested, but apparently whoever last put those bolts in used God's...
I think we have a winner!! That is exactly what is happening. I'd found that opening in the frame but didn't think it would be big enough to get anything through. I'll give it a try this morning and see what happens.
Worst case scenario, I feel better about grinding them off now that I know...
I wasn't aware they were nut clips. Only getting one off it's impossible to see exactly what I'm looking at. Does that mean there is a square slot on the bottom of the frame that allows the nut clips to be installed? If there is it's completely covered by the skid plate currently. As far as...
Yeah.. I should've taken pics, but my phone wasn't handy and now i'm too lazy to walk out to the shop, so here's the next best thing (googled pics). ;-)
This is the skid plate I've already removed (no problems there).
The one with the stripped bolts is the one directly rear of that...
Hey all.
So I my new Rogue Racing Revolver bumper just arrived and I went to start on the install only to discover that 3 of the 4 bolts on the engine skid plate are stripped and won't come out. I've never had the skid plate off so all I can think is they got screwed up at the factory or the...
