Thought I’d bump an old thread since I was in the market for some replacements and some of the places listed didn’t show in stock. Just picked up a set of the black gorillas from CJ Pony Parts and found a coupon code online which got them delivered for $90 ... individually packed as well.
Figured I'd bump this in case anyone is still looking for potential solutions to this issue. iOS 11 is what worked for me. Still running my same iPhone 7 plus and 3.10 version of sync, but haven't dropped a single call since updating nearly a month ago.
Haskal search 'ford sync 3.10 2gfusions' on google. First link should be a thread on a Fusion forum that has links to downloads and some limited instructions on updating splash screen, etc.
I would caution you that I don't believe this is an officially supported Ford release, especially when...
Updated to 3.10 over the weekend. No issues with loading the update, but also no change in phone behavior. Phone calls have probably disconnected 10 times in the last 2 days. Bluetooth audio will still stream for hours.
Nav seems to respond a smidge quicker, but other than that, no...
Sounds good. I was just adding the raptor splash files and changing the auto install as we speak. In reading through it, did you modify anything else? To keep vehicle health report or anything? Or did you just download it and throw it on?
Interesting. Got a link to where you found 3.10? Ford site shows my 3.8 as up-to-date.
*EDIT*
Might have found it on the XDA forum. I'll download it and take a look. Looks like it should work for any Ford.
Bar it's actually a known Sync problem according to Microsoft. Started the day I got my 7 plus and paired it. Exactly as described and I went through every standard troubleshoot as well. Finally found a support chat through the Ford Owner website, described the issue, and was told immediately...
lol ... it is a rather unnecessary range. I'm pretty sure the psi just gets converted to hex in the BCM so I wonder if it could just be hard coded to something lower than 30 rather than being forced to pick from the menu.
Verify and change at your own risk, but here's the change I made for nav motion bypass:
APIM, 7D0-02-01 x7xxx xxxxx xxxxx
Just ignore all the x's and change whatever you have in the second spot to a 7 (make a note or backup first).
I had a small panic moment when the truck rebooted and the...
Had a few minutes to play around with it last night. To test, I enabled turn signal DRLs and Navigation entry while in motion - no issues with either. We don't appear have access to the module the 15+ guys do that would let us automate side mirror folding on lock/unlock so that's a bummer...
Went ahead and ordered a bluetooth OBDLink for Amazon same day delivery. Depending on when it gets here I'll see what options I've got available on my '14 tonight.
In addition to the 2010 options, here's a few other things I've read have been confirmed on a 2014 (non-raptor):
Enable...
