I was just offered a silver 2018 802a (with 12K miles) for $55K from the local Ford dealer over the phone. I could probably get another 1K off I wanted it. I'm likely going to order a 2020 unless a super good deal on a 2019 comes up in the next couple of weeks. You can find some dealers...
Question for you guys who ordered your Raptor, does the dealership take a down payment to place the order OR do they want the entire payment up front? If so, how much down (generally)?
What disturbing to me from an engineering stand point, is why this cam phase problem hasn't been resolved. Its unbelievable this is still a problem model years later. Maybe Ford is interested in knowing the dealers will get warranty work, who knows????
American engineers don't perform the same testing the Japanese do, sad to say. I worked in the nuclear industry in Japan for 2 1/2 years so I saw first had how they conduct business. The Japanese test the **** out of everything to the "nth" degree. They won't put anything out unless its been...
You nailed it on this one, 7+ year car loans are exactly what the car dealers just love. Trained sales people are really good at finding buyers for these loans. I haven't had a car loan in over 23 years and I couldn't even imagine paying $1,000+ per month for a frickin' car/truck.
I've heard so many different stories from Ford dealers, its hard to find one to believe. I heard from one dealer they are calling other dealers who can't sell their Raptors and getting their allocation. I've heard a dealer who sells one Raptor is allotted two of them. I've also heard the story...
If there are any other dealers discounting like that please the forum know. I'm ready to buy and I'd like to find an 801a and a dealer closer than Ohio (I live in New Mexico).
I'll be ordering an 801a SCREW after the holidays and I'm able to get the 360 camera system with that package. Do you all feel its worth it or is it a waste of money? As we all know Raptors are not exactly the size of a Ranger and getting some more help in parking could make it easier. What are...
So true regarding the reliability and resale of the Toyotas. Only thing, a Raptor is a Raptor (your the big dog)! I have a GX470 and love that hell out of that vehicle. So reliable and still so nice to drive. I will keep it but at the end of the day, its not a bad ass Raptor!!
The decision is getting so much easier to buy a 2019 or 2020 when you compare the prices on a used 2017 or 2018. The price difference can't be justified when you can get a new 2019 truck with a full warranty. Strange, but dealers are sticking to their guns on used 2017 and 2018 models. I can't...
