My 17 3.5 non raptor just developed the oil pan leak on the passenger side also, sometime between my 32k and 37k mile oil change. I've heard and read nothing but horror stories having this repair be a one and done. Some guys have had their pans replaced 3 or 4 times. Sounds like it's all in the...
Old thread but was wondering how the FR radiator is doing for you guys and if you've been happy with the results. I have one waiting for me to pick up at FR in Phoenix for my 17 3.5. I have the max tow radiator which is 32mm thick, I know the FR is 42mm....is it worth the upgrade for 10mm? I...
Yes, IAT is down stream after air box, the sensor just before TB is post CAC temp and yes the one I circled is a MAP that also reads manifold air temperature. Definitely not here to argue but I monitor all these temps with torque pro. Here are some screen shots with and without the the MAP...
IAT1 is down stream after filter, post CAC is at top of cold side charge pipe before TB, IAT2 or Manifold temp is on top of manifold at the back, circled sensor.

When I did mine I jacked up the truck under the rear diff, put Jack stands under the frame in front of rear tires, dropped the jack and the whole rear axle drop enough for all the clearance you need. I did the same when I swapped exhausts. Works great!

Have you tried pulling your other 2 shutters or just unplug them for a bit to see if it makes a difference? What about the grille shutters? I don't have a raptor but I do have a 17 3.5 with mishi CAC, mishi oil cooler, cobb raptor intake, full race 3" catback and run 5* 91 tunes. I live in AZ...
Do you run a boost gauge? I run torque pro on my note 9 and this is what I monitor all the time. The lower boost levels you can run the cooler you will run.

While towing or running through the hills are you locking out any gears so the motor is running higher rpms thus running less boost? Boost causes lots of heat real quick. I also live in AZ and tow to saguaro lake a lot. While towing on freeway I lock out 9 and 10 and once I hit Usery pass I...
you can just unplug them also, I've had mine unplugged for 3yrs on my 17 3.5 xlt. No CEL's. I just unplugged it enough to disconnect power so the plugs still stayed covered at least. I'm in AZ.

That's what mine was doing on my 17 xlt, I just popped the plug up just enough to disconnect power and called it a day.
