I had a 2017 TRD Pro tundra and upgraded to a 2018 Raptor. No comparison, my TRD Pro didn't have a super charger so I can't speak for power but in terms of chassis and suspension and refinements. Tundra is not even close in comparison.

I would do it too, $12k for a two years newer truck, upgraded FOX shocks and Recaro interior and the aluminum oil pan is a good deal to me.

Sorry, what I meant by knock is when I start the truck a hear a click from the rear drive line. It's definitely not phaser sound.

You can get a 2018 at MSRP in Sacramento and other parts of California, but that is just bacause they are now stuck with it from last year. Also, what I notice is that 90% of the trucks in California is fully loaded. I wanted a base last July and spent three weeks calling most of the dealers...
