Setting your speed with hill descent is not too complicated. Step on gas to go faster and step on brake to go slower. Now don't you feel stupid for not being able to figure that out? ............... Happened to me too!
Did you still have to use a spring compressor after you took the shock off, but it was just easier to use? What holds the shock inside the spring anyway and why do you need to compress it to get it off and back on i assume? Where did you get the spring compressor?
Welcome to the forum. Stick around and you'll learn a lot more than you bargained for. Watch out for the guy named Birdman and the one named Shaggy. They're nothing but trouble - that's why we like 'em!!!
Your ******' kidding me!!!! I'm RIGHT???? Holly shit!!!! Bird and Shaggy - I want to change my NO vote on Rep Points to a YES. Now I want some of them damn things. It just goes to show you - If you hang around this forum long enough, some of the other guys SMARTS is bound to wear off on ya...
The difference is slight at best, but it did demonstrate to me that the muffler is not the piece causing back pressure and changing it does not improve HP. Contrary to what the Cat Back sales people would like you to believe.
The Nfab is cheaper by $100 bucks and it does look cleaner than the Ford version I have. It mounts thru the small grill while the Ford mounts to the tow hooks. I recommend that you verify that the nfab install does not require that you cut the grill. One installed pic i saw, the small grill...
Nope. I'm talking about the panel that faces the door. It is at the same level as the glove box and when the truck door is shut, you can't see this panel at all. My wires were just inside that panel.
My truck is slower with the cutout open than it is with it closed. I think they were invented just there to show people that spend tons of $$$$ on an after market exhaust that less back pressure doesn't really increase HP.
Same goes for a CAI in my book. My truck doesn't run much faster when...
Didn't realize that was you Ironman, but now that you mention it, i think you and I have had this discussion before. I told someone else to remove the side panel and your opinion was that it didn't help that much and wasn't necessary. It must have something to do with my old age, lack of...
I WAS THERE, BUT DIDN'T ARRIVE UNTIL AFTER THE WRECK.
The owner of the black Raptor was one of the race officials. I talked to him a little. He is from Houston and that is the 2nd Raptor sold in Houston. It is a 5.4 and has absolutely no mods. He is a member of the Z, but never posts and...
Yomudderpudder has a patent on this design - http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f81/front-receiver-hitch-4x4-light-bar-mod-1941/
I was never ever able to find an alternative to the Ford light bar when i was researching for my purchase. To my knowledge it's the only one specifically made for the...
Aux 1 and 2 are 30 amps, Aux 3 is 15 amps and Aux 4 is 10 amps.
To hook the things up, you first have to spice the wires together behind the clove box. Remove or drop down the glove box door and remove the triangle shaped side panel by (I love this part) stick your finger in the round hole...
