+1 for the Cobb AP. I run a Stage 2 93 octane tune from Goosetuned with an AP. I used to use a pedal commander and it threw my truck into limp mode multiple times. Never had an issue yet with the AP throttle adjustments.
Seriously. If I can't find a far away parking spot at the grocery store or someplace I'm running in quick, I'll often leave my door not fully closed so the AMP boards stay deployed and hang my head in shame.
I have them on my 19 raptor. I run King 3.0s all around and Deaver +3s in the rear. Love the steps, in my opinion they are the perfect height if your truck sits a little higher than stock. I'm 5'11 for a reference point.
As the vendor mentioned, I have PPF on my rocker panels to offset any...
@rbraptor @911 Crazy let me you if you make it out this way. I'll probably be at a local starbucks seeing if my truck can clear the drive through height lol.
@911 Crazy this is Texas man, forget that In n Out and get you some Whataburger. Even though it was bought by some Chicago firm, I think JJ Watt started a gofundme for Texans to buy it back lol.
Both CP and Leander aren't bad if you can get close to the light rail but it's certainly not...
I'm in Austin but was able to get 3k off MSRP from Mac Haik Pasadena in Houston on a 2019 in February 2019 when most dealers in TX were still over MSRP. As @GCATX mentioned, more dealers are coming around now, so you might be able to find something closer to SA. Good luck!
It depends what you want done. It's kind of an oddball request to ask for a thorough paint correction but not have the actual end-result jobs done if that makes sense.
For PPF, you'll get the most bang for your buck doing a full front end + rocker panels + B pillars (those swirl if you look at...
@911 Crazy I work a real day job but love detailing and do some side work on weekends at the shop that does PPF and ceramic to all my vehicles.
Paint correction can mean different things, but say you are going to have a two stage correction before PPF or ceramic. As to the why, even a new...
@Santiago Palacio I'd call Brad at Authentic Details in Pflugerville. They use Suntek CIR which is great tint. I have the clear on my front windshield and I prefer it over Rayno which I had on a previous vehicle. They also do PPF and ceramic coatings there depending on what you're in the market for.
Can't help you there, but I swapped 37x20 Ridge Grapplers for 37x17 Toyo RT on my truck recently and have had a couple hits on local craigslist. I think you'll have better luck trying to sell hard parts (Deavers, coilovers, etc.) on here and tires local. Good luck!
@MattHamby598 I'm the guy who switched. Still love the deavers.
@Canuck714 This is where I'm at now. Deaver +3 and King 3s front and rear. I have a 19 so the guys at TMX installed a Live Valve delete kit. Going to add an SVC bump stop kit on my next go round.
I have a 19, TMX did a live valve delete + installed King 3.0s front and rear. Got the truck back last week and haven't been off road yet, but on-road is no question the Kings are way better.
