I have had 17 and 19 and they both do this after pumping gas. It has to do with where the vent is at for the fuel tank. When you fill it up and the pump clicks off don't fill it anymore and it won't be as bad. Weird thing is it does it worse with higher octane fuel. If I fill with 87 octane it...
Last two Raptors were black. Loved the look but really got tired of taking care of black. Have had the Oxford White since Dec. Much easier to take care of. I like black better, but the white is growing on me.

Mine does the same thing. It's actually a backfire thru the exhaust, it has to do with the vent for the gas tank accord to a Ford guy I talked to. Try when filling up and the pump first clicks off not putting any more fuel in. Just stop when it first shuts off. Problem solved for me.
I said to the wife the other day I was going to keep the Gen 1 just to see what she would say. My daughter said "dad that's probably not a good idea according to mom". Lol.. So I am turning into Ford dealer tomorrow. Going to be a sad day!
