Yup tsb on this should be a recall. Everyone needs to report this to the ntsb. Same thing happened to me. I got the kit from Ford and fixed it my self since the dealer want like 200. The directions that come with the kit are are written like shit. Make sure you cut the right wire.

There is a YouTube video on a regular f150 guy doing the same thing. Helped a lot after reading directions, and thinking I cut the wrong line.
