1st remove the small drain access cover (if you don't offroad leave it off less to remove next time)
2nd remove oil drain plug, mine is plastic so simple twist out, or because I replaced with a fumoto threaded into a yellow plug, open valve, works perfect and no leaks.

It is just laying there between the spare and the wheel well. It stays in place good enough for me and I've offroaded this thing pretty hard with jumps and all its never moved from that place. And I went cheap with a 2 ton harbor freight jack, pro eagle would be sic but over priced imo. Works...

Yeah great idea, never get stuck if only I thought of that but occasionally the snow and mud gets a little deeper than my ego, haha. I've never heard of strapping to the UCA. I'd rather stick to frame mount locations if possible.
