I had a Turbosmart SS mechanical BOV and while I loved the sound I couldn’t stand the fact that my engine sounded like a sprinkler due to the install on the vacuum line.
I ended up going a different route with a Go Fast Bits BOV which retain the electronic function but also works as a...
There’s a YouTube video that shows the installation process. i believe it’s by John From SPV Performance parts (he’s a frequent vendor here)
I did it on my 17’ and it was an easy and well worth upgrade.
See below the video:
I believe the 542’s were rebranded and are now under a new part number M-12405-35T. There’s a previous thread about that.
Otherwise they’re pretty common to find. SPD Performance and MPT are some of the few that carry them. At the time of this writing, they’re running a sale on them now for...
FWIW, I have a solid contact at AutoNation Ford on NW 57th Ave. I only go there because of him He helped me get me all the service records for the truck before I purchased. Otherwise I wouldn't know where to go. Ive heard of shoddy work from other dealerships. Haven't had a bad experience yet...
Reach out to @Big Blue
He’s very attentive and I had the same issue and I PM’ed him and he restored my privileges. I’m not sure what’s the cause but maybe he can provide some additional feedback to those having similar issues
Selling my truck and I will be getting rid of some items. This is an unpaired Accessport with ECM + TCM tuning support. I was running the Cobb Stage II with it and if you want to go goosetune, you just need to buy the tune from him, as this includes the TCM tuning as well.
It’s uninstalled...
Who do we request permission from to post in the Garage Sale Section? Is this new? I've posted there before but cannot post something there again.
I Appreciate the help!
Lol, I apologize, I wasn’t aware of all their selection sizes. It does seem very limited, however I’m wondering if that’s cause it’s a new tire and if they’re going to offer more sizes as production and demand for them increases.
As for myself, I currently run 17’s as well but you know, some...
Currently running RG as well but it might be worthwhile to check out the new Recon Grapplers they just launched. They’re a true A/T than a hybrid tho.

You are correct as well. I’m running the stock clamps and while they are good enough, you just have to torque them down really tight. I haven’t had any issues with mines as well but
If you still keep having issues with the hose blowing off, then I would switch to the other style of clamps
I’m currently running one without any issues. The Hose blowing off is more a problem with the clamps than with the hoses themselves. I recommend a V band clamp over the ones they provide. Other than the lack of details provided in the instruction manual, it’s not that hard to install it.
