I had this same issue after my transfer case blew up. When they repaired it they didn’t reconnect something correctly at the dealership which caused the issues you are describing.
I’m no forscan expert, but have been lurking for a while. Have you had someone look at your DRL while in drive? I believe I’ve read that they are different when in Park vs Drive.

just occurred to me - I've got the Ford fold up bed extender mounted back there. So long as I am ok with it not folding flat against the side of the truck, these should still install just fine, don't you think?
