No offense at all! I fully agree with your perspective. I’ve hiked the wave numerous times with and without permits and have seen many people lost on the trails. Some of the times I’ve hiked in without a permit i have actually guided permitted hikers out.

Although you do have to wonder if all those parts failed, the truck may not have been intended for that purpose. I sometimes think we expect more out of these things than they really can handle.
Isn't the obvious answer to take delivery of the TRX, drive them both for a few weeks, then decide which one to sell? Both should sell over what you paid, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I don't see how you could go wrong here.

Loved the wheel - Rau wheels in LA made it. I did not opt to keep the heating function, which would only be retained on the non-carbon parts of the wheel. But the wheel was awesome, and the stripe was dead center.
