Picked up my truck from dealer for front driver shock replacement (front passenger replaced about 3 months ago), light flickering recall, service and APIM update.

Just got my truck back after front shock replacement and I’m pleased to announce that it now feels and drives the way I expected it to. For those struggling with the “clunk”. Keep at it and stay diligent with your dealers.

My dealer just texted that I won't be picking up my truck today (as I hoped)....because they found a bad IWE (4wheel drive actuator). It's supposed to be there Friday. I hate not having my truck, but excited that a solution is finally being remedied. Hopeful it will drive the way I expect once...

Did you show them the video posted in this thread earlier and give them the SSM? My dealer couldn't replicate mine either. But, after showing them the SSM, took the truck back to them and the followed the SSM (which includes chassis ears). The determined that my right front shock is bad and it...

Just got a text from my dealer…..they finally listened to me and the directions in the SMM and found the right front shock to be the cause of my “clunk”. New shock has been ordered and hoping to have my truck back this week.

I agree.....I will be shocked if my "clunk" is not coming from my front end....not the rear as others have stated.

Have you tried balancing your tires? Might have tossed a wheel weight.

Interesting.....I emailed Valentine a couple months ago to update my radar....the response was that my unit was not worth updating and I could buy a brand new one for way too much money.

I’ve paid to have 3 vehicles ceramic coated. I live in FL…so, elements can be pretty harsh! I believe the ceramic coat helps to keep my truck looking good (unfortunately, she stays parked in the driveway outside). However, I didn’t feel it was worth the $2-2.5K it was going to cost to have it...

Put one of these on my Gen 2 and was bit dissappointed (not in the product). The room behind the seat wasn’t big enough to get excited about. Any more room in the Gen 3 to justify a rear seat release? Anybody have any pictures?

That makes way more sense to me and is good news. Mine is definitely coming from the front end and it feels like a shock issue.

I had a 18’ with regular leather seats, then a 19’ with Recaro’s. On the longer hauls, I felt like the regular seats in the 18’ were more comfortable (for me). The regular leather seats in my 22’ are on another level and way more comfortable to me. Feel like Ford make a huge improvement here.
