So, with the Gen 3 being out a few years now…. I’m curious to know why you would stick with your Gen 2 vs going with the Gen 3? I’m looking into getting both -I’ve been looking into it for years and I’ve asked the Gen 3 thread if they would have stick with their Gen 2’s or if they’re happy. On...
Just curious if anyone thinks anything about the 2024’s will have any Raptor R features? Black recaros? Raptor R color schemes? I’d love to see that Carbon Grey on a regular 2024 raptor.
Thoughts?
Has anyone tried to install a camera to monitor their beds like the Gen 3 have? Not sure how it would work unless it was thrown in a rear view mirror with the flip of it. It would be awesome to hear if anyone has and how you did it!
Thanks for sharing this. After reading about this, it seems a lot of people are disappointed with this product... hopefully they continue to update it!
I’ve seen some… and don’t get me wrong I know I’m being picky - I’m not a fan of the ones I’ve seen. The interface that ford has developed in the Gen 3’s are just nice. look good, clean, functional. Much less of a tablet feel.
Honestly, I’m just a tech junky - I like and the way it functions more like an iPad. I’ve looked at the other big screens to replace it with, and they just don’t look as clean or have as great of an interface IMO. That’s what I like about the Gen3
The redesined dash it what really pulls me into the Gen 3’s. My father in law has a 22 super duty with the new touchscreen and it’s amazing. If there was a way to retrofit that stile into a 2019 I’d more than likely be all for it.
This is pretty much what lead me to ask this. I don’t think I can really gauge a different driving up and down one road on a test drive. I currently drive an 04 f-150 with 180k miles - so in reality you can slap me in anything and it’s going to have a better ride then what I’ve got right now.
