I think you’re onto something. With dealers activity searching for customers (and subsequently reading which other dealers are charging) it would seem that they are trying to move units and budging on the price. Be curious to see how the next few months go.
Sell it yourself, you’ll end up way better off. And, based off what the market it seems to be (based off of sites like cars.com and carmax), you should do well.
Was Oxford your second color choice? If so, I agree with the above...these trucks are too much for a salesman to treat you crappy and not bend over backwards for you. Hit up the salesman with the ‘18 and let him know the graphics package is your sticking point (I’m sure you’ve used them...
What kind of deal did you get on the lease? You are the first I’ve seen that is leasing their Raptor. If you plan on keeping it, it might be a good deal in the end...
I believe it. After shopping around for a couple of months, the 2017s are still selling for higher than what MSRP initially was. Using historical context, this isn't anywhere near normal...

Sorry to jump in a few days late, but I'm in Germany stationed in Ramstein. I'll tell you that it'll be tough to have over here due to the super small roads and parking places, but it's not impossible. You actually might have a decent shot at selling it over here...I've only seen two here in...
No sweat...there have been quite a few guys here that have bought Raptors at ENCS overseas, and the office here on Ramstein gave me a quote a few weeks back. Really good deal if you're in the market; usually you can get better deals by shopping around in the States, but with a "special" vehicle...
Dude, if you're deployed overseas, head into Exchange New Car Sales and have one built for you UNDER MSRP! Stay away from the undercoat, extended warranty and paint protection and you'll get a killer deal.
I'm in Germany with the USAF and looking at them now...you won't be disappointed...
