I think they're very good seats for most drives up to a few hours. Hence, I figured they would be great for even longer drives.
Then I did a 9 hour drive yesterday, broken up in 3 hour increments. I gotta say, I'm not that impressed. The back support is fine, albeit on the firmer...
Once the chip shortages correct (or somewhat correct)-- if gas prices are also still super high-- TRX demand will go WAAAAY down. By summer of next year, I truly believe TRX's will be discounted across the board.
That's great............except it's practically irrelevant when Ford can't secure the chips it needs to to complete the builds and actually the deliver the trucks that have ALREADY been built and are sitting in Michigan. It's such a sh*t show.
Mine is built as well: was built on 3/31.
I have no idea why Ford seems to be disproportionately affected c/w to other auto makers, or maybe that's purely my imagination.
No one knows anything, other than the magical chips are missing
Delivery pushed back ..............again. Went from 5/6 to 5/21, waiting on chips.
It seems as though things are getting worse with micro chips rather than better, but who actually knows.
This is exactly what I've been saying.............this will all correct, but with cars (more so than other goods), it may take longer b/c of this ongoing situation with supply chain issues.
........The joys of outsourcing your economy to the 3rd world
Resolved since this thread............I placed a raptor in Jan, and it was built 3/31/22. Now I'm just waiting like many others on here for whatever chip(s) that are missing.
Where in Louisiana are you? I lived there for a long time.......
I'm in the same boat. Mine was built last Thursday: 3/31, only to be told it's waiting on a chip. When I asked my sales guy for additional details, he said he would have some more info for me within a day or 2. That was 4 days ago and counting. The reality is that they can't/won't...
don't disagree in real terms with what you're saying, but rising rates have historically diminished consumer confidence for borrowing-- even when the rates increases are nominal, as you stated. And the rate hikes will likely be more substantive, given that there will be several over time...
What's going on is what I mentioned a few weeks ago: the market is starting to cool as auto loan rates are going up. Many said and continue to say demand is going to stay high through next year. I don't buy it at all, regardless of what the parts/chips issue continue to be.
As rates...
This sucks so badly............for you to wait this long, only to get a truck that feels so cheap/poorly built. I was told by the dealership that almost everything is automated on the builds of these trucks, in which case much of human error should be taken out of the equation. It scares me...
