Preston Ford is really awesome. Over 200 miles away, they drove the new truck up to me and drove my 2019 trade away. What fantastic service! Also $1000 under MSRP.
My 2023 Avalanche Raptor is being delivered to me on Tuesday…also coming from a 2019 Raptor in Magnetic.
Initially thought I was going to pass on the Gen 3, but now looking foward to getting into it.
I did the marker lights today. Info for those looking to do them;
Front marker light:
Wiggle out OEM marker from rubber grommet. Pull out light and rubber grommet from fender flare. Inside you will see a connector which will help get to if you use a small panel popper to get the wire...
After watching the Gen3 craziness (3.5 and V8), I appreciate my 2019 even more. I thought I needed to upgrade but now convinced I do not. It really is the best truck I’ve owned and awesome in many ways.
I’ve added this little mod yesterday…and now I find myself looking for the potholes and...
I brought my 2019 Raptor in for an oil change (near 30k miles) and they gave me a sheet of "recommended" services at 30K...

My plan is...
Not all effective mounts have to be expensive (or bulky).
Props to the member that suggested the Scosche MAGDM mount. $10.99 on Amazon. I paired it with a 2 ft Lightning cable for my iPhone. It is perfect!
Looks like the Tyger is the same one, but cheaper...

I just got mine and it secures with just the one strap.
The WT flaps come with stainless hardware that replaces the factory plastic nutsert/screw. Of the two securing points, only one of them can be secured with the new stainless hardware supplied as you cannot reach behind the newly isntalled fender liner to get the new hardware on.
I used the...
Thank you for this recommendation...I previously ordered the ProClip but wasn’t crazy about how big it was. I ordered the Scosche Magic Mount (Amazon) and not only saved money ($14) but it works great!
