I have been using K&N filters but might need to give the Mobil 1s a try. I have been seeing positive reviews on multiple forums, including sportscars.

I had this same issue. FORD would not cover it which I find disappointing given the tech bulletin etc.

I have had good results running Royal Purple and K&N Oil Filters on my Gen 1. Blackstone reports have come back nicely. I typically change oil between 500-750 miles for piece of mind on break in.

Seems like a reasonable starting price.

I have inquired with my salesman and am hoping someone with a connection to the inside can find out what the hold is.... Engine issue is never comforting.

Have people seen significant mileage differences running regular low octane fuel?
