Had my 2018 phasers replaced, noise came back before the 1st oil change interval. Engine runs rough sometimes now too. called a few dealers including the place that did the job. Nobody wants to work on it now.
My late 2018 production date had the noise for a few months. all 4 were replaced @ 19,000 miles. they changed oil and filter too. Also got a right front axle shaft (torn boot) was really hoping to never do anything but maintenance on this truck. had two prior 3.5 ecoboosts, no noises no...
Got my invitation from Ford Performance to out to Tooele (Salt Lake) for free Raptor Assault driving school. Definitely plan to go, sounds like fun.
Anyone else attend this? How was it?

good information all, thanks. I assumed vacuum engaged the axles. Still don't remember my FX4 being that way though... I'll ensure they disengage correctly when running.
rotated my tires and happened to notice my axles would not remain stationary while turning the rotor, I tried holding the axles still and they felt mechanically connected to the hubs. I don't recall my FX4 doing this.
Aren't they vacuum actuated??

the tire pressure rating on the sidewall is for maximum load capacity. The Mfg will usually indicate the doorjamb pressure meant for safest on-road driving and/or best MPG rating.
my 2 cents
