Raptor Friends,
I am lucky to have Road America in my back yard. New this year, they are doing drag races on Tuesday Nights for $35 and have a gas truck division. I am thinking about entering for S&Gs but thought I would ask the collective genius of the group if there is anything I should do to...
Anyone do the Raptor R Assault class yet. Headed there 5/30 and wondering if there is any difference in the classes. Gonna get the insurance so I feel confident about the 45 mph jump
To all my friends waiting in Raptor R purgatory, it was my experience that sitting patiently did not help my situation. Once I started making noise on how my $120k vehicle was sitting in a rail station out in the elements the dealer found a way to put my truck on an expedited list. Not sure...
Cleaned it up to give the group some Truck P*rn. One tank of gas and it was worth the wait. Biggest worry between the 21 37” and this one, not burning through rear tires in year one:)
It finally got here this week. They delivered it in the rain but cleaned it up to post some Truck P*rn for the group:)
One tank of gas and I can’t believe the difference from the 21 37”. 700hp makes the truck feel exactly like it looks, Fricken Kick A$$!!
I hear all the troubles with the R on this forum but after what seemed like forever, the R was in my driveway this week. No oil issues, no transmission issues, and scary fricken fast. I think some of the waiting we had to do was to fix these first year issues before delivery. So far I say Bravo...
After selling my 37 and waiting 247 days for the R, it was sitting in my driveway when I got home this week. Best decision I ever made, the heated wheel and lighting features would be nice but this truck is about the history it is making. 15 years from now when some of these are worth 7 figures...
On 1/24/23 the tracker went blank and the window sticker was gone. On 1/30/23 the tracker came back and showed it shipped as of 1/26/23. After two weeks, I emailed Ford Performance and they told me it was in the Rail Yard. Seems like a lot of work for a $100k vehicle!!
order placed 7/18….went to production on 11/21…. Built 12/28….. Shipped 1/26...and now has been sitting in the Rail Yard since 1/31 only 90 miles away. The dealer is looking into breaking it out of this prison cell, just have to figure out what it is worth to get it early a few days/weeks. Did...
Mine was built on 11/7 and got the email last Thursday it should be here by 1/10. Looking forward to the pics of our friends that should get theirs before the end of the week.
Once we start seeing pics of real trucks in driveways, it will be confirmed we are not all a bunch or morons chasing...
Here we go gentlemen, they are moving them now. I also got the BUILT update this morning. I think when it all comes out they needed to hold these gas guzzlers until 2023 for EPA reasons but we may never know. No matter why, It is a good sign for everyone in this thread!!
