I haven't really checked, I just tuned my truck yesterday so any considerations on MPG is out the window now, ha! All about enjoying the truck with the new found power/speed and comfortable ride.
UPDATE: I finally got it fixed from the dealer - not because of any particular reason, I just didn't have the time to leave it there for a week or more. And they had to order parts for it that were on back order.
Got it repaired last week, the noise is gone - FINALLY! It was driving me crazy...
I preferred the way my 2017 rode over my 2020. The 2020 is too stiff and not as good of a ride quality around town. Anyway to adjust the 2020 suspension to make softer/better ride?
Ford will not fix the issue at this time. Mechanics/Ford is actually told NOT to try to fix anything. It’s a known issue across several models. No remedy at this time. Sucks. Ford...you suck. Should not be this way when you pay $75k for a Raptor. Get your shhh straight.
I keep meaning to drop it off. But the shop foreman already told me I’d have to leave it for a couple days. I just don’t have the time to spare on leaving it for that long at the moment. Hopefully when the holidays get closer and we have some days off of work.
I also think it’s a issues on all...
I came from a 2017 - had zero issues till about 50k miles. Sunroof failed (tracks), and then had the Cam Phaser issue at 61k Miles....(luckily had the 100k warranty) - Traded it in for the 2020 cause I love the truck so much. But this is very annoying to me. Especially being a 2nd Gen 2...
Bingo - exact. Not sure how many miles you have, but I'm at 2200 and it's def getting louder and more noticeable. It's I either turn up my radio loud, or get annoyed at the high pitched noise.
ARE THERE ANY 2020's THAT DON"T HAVE THIS SOUND? That's what I'd like to know.....
