I have a leak under the front passenger floor carpet and have installed the a/c drain elbow but it’s still pooling up. Today I saw some strange carbon fiber module with green and red lights blinking and don’t know what it is. Any help is appreciated
What are people using to protect the front of the truck from bgs and rocks ect. I have seen the AVS or ford branded bug deflectors but wanted to ask if there was anythgin new. i dotn see too many of these anymore. i know some have used 3M clear wraps but they tend to stain at the seams.
Any update to this? Mine also smells only after a rain. I did havea cabin vent fail so thats been sealed of fon left side ( right is good) Checked moon roof and nothing there. Drilled the 1/4" hole in coil box and sprayed the foam clean and sealed it back with a/c tape. The even tried the lysol...
I picked the truck up Saturday 3/4/23. It was a head gasket failure and it had leaked coolant internally in to two cylinders as well as externally. it required a complete break down with pictures sent to Ford. The dealership determined there was no warpage and the rebuild was handled completely...
Update: Today service manager called and said Ford has requested the engine come out and detailed pictures be sent in and that a completely new engine is not out of the question now but not to worry as it is covered by warranty. Be nice if they were to send a newer model engine as I do not want...
I called and got a case number going on the repair as it is still just sitting up at ford. My dealer is waiting to hear from Fords Technical service to know what work will be covered and/or parts to be sent? The 16th will be a month, is this typical? I am trying to be patient, but as no one...
Still up at ford sitting there. No offense taken and i appreciate the service techs chiming in. It’s a frustrating ordeal and I can’t help to feel that the issue is not the head gasket that I am being told. They are still waiting on ford for a claim for warranty coverage. Going on week 3.
well the issue began right after a new water pump install. I was thinking if high temp had caused some expansion could a new working water pump now be showing where previous damage was done?
Cracked head gasket maybe not the correct term. Always appreciate the guys the chime in just to point...
It’s definitely not from an easily accessible point from the front. I can’t help but to wonder if a new water pump put extra pressure to a possible previous leak that had been sealed using some liquid sealer when I bought it used in 18 with 40k on it. I appreciate the comments but again just...
please understand that im a a fellow raptor enthusiast and driver but not a ford tech or mechanic. I took a picture of where is spotted the dripping and where I was able to get my phone to do so. Sure it may not be the source. But as I said in the OP there was zero dripping prior to the water...
