About two weeks ago, the radio control on my steering wheel wouldn't allow me to advance or reverse my pre-selected channels. At first I thought it was related to Sirius. I took my truck in for service today and was told Ford released a bulletin announcing that the switch on the steering wheel...
You might want to look at the Weathertech phone cup holder. I have one for my wife's car and it works great. The only disadvantage is that we can't close the compartment cover/door without first removing the phone and holder.
I love my Husky liners even though they were a royal PITA to install. Do NOT trim -- they are meant to fit extremely tight in the wheel well. The advantage over Line-X is you get superior protection and coverage (as well as a cleaner look IMO). The disadvantage is if you're an aggressive...
I got the Oxford white (and luckily found one that ONLY had the hood decal) principally because -- like other's have mentioned -- the contrasting plastic and trim pieces make it look more custom than any other color Ford produces for the Raptor.
I should have added that I live in VA...the humidity levels are virtually the same here as they are in SC (which I know well since I regularly visit family in Spartanburg). The key, again, is to force ambient air through the system. In any case, good luck.
I worked as a service writer at an independent automotive shop and broached this issue years ago with one of our most senior and respected techs. He said when you're 1-2 miles from your final destination, 1) shut off the AC, 2) adjust the temp control to its lowest setting, and 3) put the fan...
I have an Oxford White 2020 with only the hood graphics (not side vinyl) which is the way I wanted it. IMO it looks more custom this way and the Ford hood laminate is pretty high quality. I think you should keep it.
FWIW
YMMV
I wouldn't mind losing part of the vent, as long as the phone is vibration-free. Have you had a chance to use it much? Is it pretty stable when driving around?
the magnet is actually the round "knob" attached to the bracket...the steel pad attaches to the phone. But I can't answer your question since I don't charge my phone wirelessly. Sorry.
dilmorecg, the steel plate is extremely thin and attaches on the back of your phone, or in my case, the back of my phone's case...I never know it's there.
I had a Weathertech cup holder too. I didn't like having too look so far down if something popped up on my phone...it was also difficult for me to read.
I've been looking for a functional, clean and simple way to mount my iPhone since picking up my 2020 6 weeks ago. I dismissed the Proclip and Builtright dash mounts since I wanted to keep the stock appearance as best I can. My research lead me to Corse Motorsport...
I can't answer your concern if there's a coating on the inside of the windshield, although I suspect not, but whenever it comes to cleaning or removing contaminants, my approach has always been to take the least aggressive means possible. I too would have first tried Goo Gone but since that...
