Holding an extra qt seems like reason enough to swap out to one of these when I am due to change the fluid. I'm not sure how much weight to put on the fact they are 'stronger'. Seems like compared to thin stamped steel, it has to add some strength. The ability to fill via top hole is nice.

Agree, love mine- I went with the Katana boy - bigger timber around here. Some trips I don't bring a chainsaw and this thing is a nice, compact EDC. Bring a wedge or two too.

Interesting. I used it once when I got the truck in 19, but haven't used it since. I'm pretty sure there are some situations it will work better than me, but so far, I just pick the drive mode and sometimes M mode and limp up, down, or through whatever and no muss, no fuss.

I find people are really reluctant to bust out (or didn't bring) shovels. I also have found a little (or sometimes a lot) of shovelling goes a long way. Often it is all that is needed.
