Just wanted to update everyone. Had the dealer check for a parasitic drain this last time the battery died and and found that the driver side door actuator was bad and was draining. They replaced the module and apparently no more draw when the truck is off. Hopefully this solves the issues...
Thanks for all the replies, will check on these things. I don't have any mods except a radar and a auto/start stop bypass. If it happens again i'll drop it at a different dealer and try having a second opinion and have them do a battery reset.
Anyone else had issues with their batteries in these GEN2? I purchased my 2019 brand new in PA during the winter last year and the battery died within 2 months upon getting it back to Texas, I chalked it up as it probably sat on the lot in the cold undriven may have killed the battery. Fast...
Congrats on the new Raptor, you're going to love it!
Yeah mine's chalk, it's really difficult to photograph the color. GT Silver is so nice, such a classic color. These cars hitting 9k is such a soundtrack, it never gets old. IMO a perfect combo, Raptor daily and GT3 weekend best of both...
My battery was dead on my 2019 with less than 3k miles. Thankfully was able to jump it and brought it to the dealer who swapped it out with a new battery. Not sure if it's just the quality of the stock batteries.
It’s the Gerber downrange tomahawk. It’s really for ***** in giggles. Don’t buy it for cutting wood, do definitely buy it to get drunk with friends and throw around at targets and serves as a good all around cutting utility tool when you’re out in the woods camping etc.
I bought the additional molle packs on amazon including the first aid kit, there's a ton to choose from and they fit the molle attachment straps on the builtright panels.
Just installed my Bakflip MX4 today and I really like it. Super slim and out of the way, looks extremely nice. One thing to check when buying a cover is to make sure the tailgate can close if the cover is fully down if that is important to you, not all covers allow you to do so. So far fitment...
Actually, this is a really good idea. If you really like it keep it till the plastidip starts to have issues (chips etc.) then get it powder coated. I don't know how much it is to get power coated but if you are okay with a cast wheel, I know you can get a slick looking set of Methods for just a...
If you do end up powder coating the stock deadlocks could you post up some pics? I was loosely thinking of doing the same thing but the slate gray color is growing on me and the hassle of it all i'm not really looking forward to. I have a 19 white also.
