Update. The plug that goes into seat module is bad. Technician saw that module wasnt online and when he opened the connection there were heat damage. Now waiting for a replacement plug. But he repaired the original plug as much so I have seat heating again.
Didn't find a DCSM test, but found a way to graphically see seat heating status. Both were off even when sync showed 2 bars heating. So sync screen and heating control unit doesn't see each other.
So sorry for lack of update, but got my new OBD reader today. And FORScan shows 0 HVAC module trouble codes. Fuses as much as I saw was ok. If i remember correctly it was an ittermittent issue before. I remember that I had the issue first a few months ago, then started working for a week or so...
I can try but...
2 seats, at the same time and cooling is also out? Can it be that simple? The cooling button works on screen. It makes a beep and animation when I press it, but it won't turn on vents in seats either.
Hey
Gen1 Raptor from Estonia(EU) here. I have almost 410k kilometers on my truck now and it is winter here. -20C... aaaand my heated seats stopped working. Fuse is fine (no 69 under the hood) and I am out of ideas. SYNC screen shows 2 bars on seat heating and 0 for cooling when I press the...
Could you explain where to look?

So 2014 Raptor. Last year I had to do a total gearbox rebuild with valve body change. At the moment I have 188k miles on it, but thanks to COVID I have put maybe 20k miles on gearbox after rebuilding. If I remember correctly then gearbox was totally rebuilt but TC was left as it was.
Today I...
Just hit 290k km few days ago.
Here is my list of different issues I have worked with, but I really can't recall the mileage when those parts failed.
Steering pump
Steering rack had some play and made weird noise
Starter was ful of fine dust, replaced it.
Coolant radiator broke 2x: oem...
So I need to check the turning torque of pinion? Pinion nut torque does not matter? Just asking so I would get the whole picture. English is not my native language so explain it as simple as possible :D
And what happens when I over torque the nut and bearings? Increased wear? Oil overheating...
Seems I am going to need a rebuild after all. We didn't do it at all like you said. I don't know how the shop replaced my differential last year, but I am quite sure they too did not do it like that.
Since the nut loosened, and we had no idea what the proper technicue was we used Locktite...
