Is it a 5 pin connector to the truck?

I think we need to know if it is electric or hydraulic brakes on the trailer. Our boat trailer with hydraulic brakes needed another wire added to disable the brakes in reverse. If theyre electronic its probably something to do with the truck or the wiring.

I use solution finish black trim restorer. Its like a dye for the plastic and its a more permanent solution than something like back to black.

I lost a passenger side cam phaser and when it went out, the truck would start loping/surging under throttle. About 100 miles later it threw a light. Never any rattling or knocking sounds, just running poorly.

You would have to split the headlight housing and peel it off. I would just get new cheap ones off ebay or amazon to avoid the headache
