Thanks a ton. With the suction from the fresh grease, trying to pull the axle out again was almost as bad as the first time. But I definitely wanted to do it the right way. Axle replaced, and new disc/caliper.

So I'm replacing the CV axles on my 2010 6.2. Finally get the passenger side off and new one in...and find this o-ring right underneath. It's about 1 3/8". Too big for the hub. Did it fall out of the UCA ball joint, the tie rod end, or somewhere else in the hub?

Just realized I didn't take many photos this trip--especially of the Ouray and Telluride. Both cool towns--moreso for Ouray. The size and steepness of the mountains on either side cannot be captured by photos anyway.
