Well, my 2017 SCAB is just under 18,000 miles as well.............Oh wait, mine has one less zero than that one! And it would take almost twice that price to wrangle it away from me.........
Well, extra leafs can be a crapshoot depending on the shop, Deavers are the go to but pricey, this works for me and is adjustable............each to his own.

Roadmaster update. RAS set with the white space (20% - of what?) and it works great. With #525 tongue weight and around #4,250 loaded trailer weight - squat is minimal - also use a E2 Fastaway WD hitch - handles and feels great.
Not part of the recall. March 2017 build date. Another Hitachi MC and a new booster put in Aug. 2020........very soft pedal feel still.......... Still less than 12k miles!
You are likely over the payload rating though.............
Check your yellow tire loading sticker on the driver's door frame.
That value, less trailer tongue weight (and that #700 spec'd is "dry"), less all 4 occupants, less dogs, less gear....................

Late update.............about 3 months after the "fix" above.
Dealer seems to have forgot to tighten up the brake lines at the master cylinder...........
Had brake fluid squirting all over the place.

All seems good now, though the soft pedal as compared to my other (numerous)...
Believe that rubber roller sitting on top of the leaf springs - right under the RAS coil spring is supposed to be removed for this application?
Edit - Verified per Roadmaster instructions..........rollers should come off.
I just installed these (3611) on my '17 SCAB for travel trailer duty (#500 tongue and #4,500 +/- trailer weight) and was a bit surprised with an unhitched 1 1/2" rear rise using the white (thin) spacer. Truck is all stock - rear went from 41" to 42 1/2" at the top of the rear fenderwells...
PSA for the dim-witted (me!)
When installing, at the point it calls for a pry bar under the back right of the console to lift, don't go under the console more that about 2 inches as there are numerous wires and expensive looking electronic modules under there.............DAMN!
