They need adjusted. I don’t recall the number of turns of the screwdriver, but I took 5 min and lowered them a bit and no one has flashed since then…. It didn’t take much and I feel I can see just as well. Give it a shot (safely).
If it was only when jumping on the bumper it wouldn’t be so bad. But the rattle is very obvious crossing the smallest bump or crack on a road for me. And seems to be gradually getting worse.
I have same issue with 35. Reminds me of two sounds. Similar to hitch receiver clunking when towing. And also similar to my gen2 when a sway bar bushing was bad. Bouncing on bumper reproduces it. One would think it would be a mount issue based on the sound. Now to tie up a day having dealership...
The Blackvue power magic pro devices allow you to select the voltage threshold at which it cuts power and also the duration 12/24/72/INF hours before it cuts off. I've found that it records in parking mode quite well and doesn't drain your battery quickly. They do have a battery pack which can...
My setup:
Gen2: Rigid light pairs 1 and 2
Gen3: AUX1 prewired for rigid pair 1 (2nd pair activated by button on light selector knob.
My Blackvue dash cam connects via OBD port utilizing Power Magic EZ so that is remains powered for parking mode.
Uniden connects via MirrorTap
Considering...
In my experience with anything battery related like this the dealership usually goes with the “key fob stored too close to vehicle” before the actual problem is identified and fixed (reference BMW 335xi).
This interesting. I always see my voltage on the Uniden and compared to my Gen2 with optima yellow top, this battery spends much more time in the upper 12s and low/mid 13V than the gen2. This is probably normal.
Interesting, when I built the truck I tried my best to build with Copilot 2.0, but had to unselect 801A and add features individually and couldn't get to the equivalent of 801A + copilot. Therefore opted for 801A.
So, I wasn't expecting to have Copilot until I saw the build updated online...
Well, I was trying to find this feature but I'm quite certain it's not on the truck. The videos I referenced utilized a button I do not have in the 801A. Curious to hear if anyone else finds it.
EDIT: The |P| button on the dash merely gives the option to find the closest parking lot. Perhaps...
This code orange color is so difficult to photograph. You really have to see it in person. Yes, the bead locks are in fact lighter in color. I wish they would provide OEM black lug nuts. It’s on my upgrade list.
