Thanks for the replies. I’m going to call Method this week and see if I can get anything out of them.
Worst case I could bring them to a polisher, they would make a good project only real pain is taking all the tires off and on
I did not coat them or wax them at all. I didn’t realize I had to. Flame all you want I just figured they had a clear coat or finish to some degree of protection.
Can someone explain to me why I have lost the finish on 3 year old wheels that never see salt or the winter roads. I don’t use any chemicals to clean the wheels or anything and don’t even drive the truck much. I’m assuming it’s the clear coat but what could cause this to happen ? All four wheels...
Wow that is incredible, congratulations. I am sure you were just waiting for the day to come. What are your plans for it? If that were me I would just leave it stock.
^^^^What he says. If the battery is indeed dying and only a couple years old depending on where you bought it maybe it's still under warranty. I've had problems with a previous red top too, it was about as old and was warrantied.
Very sorry to see what happened to your truck ! I am always afraid of shit like this. Hey whatever the damage is I am sure it could have been worse and can be fixed ! So fix it. She's worth it
Knocking the dust off it, I’ve bumped older
I will take some measurements and see how they lay out on the 35. It looks like the glue bottles have hardened in storage so this might be more of a freebie for someone who wants them. I’ll check tomorrow
