Hey @TheWolf the only thing I didn't see anything about was the glass sealant. I'm not sure if I missed it or not but it's definitely something that great for our trucks. It's helps out a ton when you're going through muddy water and it splashes and covers the entire windshield because it just slides right off rather than it sticking and not being able to see. It makes it a lot safer so you don't have to rush and try and turn on the wipers real fast. I use it on all my windows and it helps a bunch. Figured I'd mention it in case other members aren't familiar with the product. I even use it on my sunroof and it stops rain and water from leaving spots when it dries.

Yes! I will add the Glass Sealant now, thanks for noticing that.

Still looking for a solution remove was from plastic / rubber parts. Daughter went nuts with some wax a while back and I've tried everything to get it removed. Don't want to use something that will ruin the surface.

HELP!!!

Did you try allperpose I like a tooth brush of some sort so agitate it, that should strip off any wax but will on the paint also.

Tried the All Purpose Cleaner yesterday with a soft brush. Got some of it off but not the really heavy places.

Like @Wilson suggested, I first try All Purpose Cleaner. Use a microfiber towel on any smotth plastic or rubber. If the plastic is textured, then you have to use a small, stiff brush to get it out of the recesses in the plastic. Just tape off any adjacent painted surfaces so you don't scratch it with the brush.

If the APC does not work, then use Isopropyl Alcohol with the same techniques. If the wax residue is really old, you may have to soak it with the Isoproyl Alcohol, let it sit, then scrub, and repeat as needed.

Both APC and IPA will strip the wax or sealant off the paint, so you would need to reapply.

Another trick for wax residue for smooth plastic is a pencil eraser. Again, tape off any paint so you don't mar it with the eraser. I have not found the eraser to help on textured plastic, since the residue is down in the recesses of the texture.

So the IPA will not make the plastic turn 'white'? This is mostly on the fenders of a Jeep and they are textured. Wouldn't want to damage those....
