Well I loaded up my 93 tune (HOLY SHIT) and when I start the truck the revs go up but drop suddenly. Not sure if the truck is just relearning or what but it doesn't keep the revs up on a cold start, they big down immediately

This is a cold start:

I find that my truck revs higher than it needs to (or at least way higher than any of my FORDS, 2 Mark 8's and Navigator) during start up...

Mine does it also with the 93 tune. I've only ran the 93 tune though so I'm not sure how the other tunes rev. Usually I'll just tap the gas and it goes down to 600 rpm's.

I don't know it just doesn't seem right to me for a cold start. I guess I'll just give it some more time to relearn the tune

I think so, but I'm not one to play with that stuff. I'll set the damn thing to explode upon start lol

I have the SVC tune and have been running it for months with the 93 tune and it has always done it on start up and I'm sure it's the same way for 5*. You can raise the idle on the STC tuner it's easy. I raised mine to 600 rpm's and it idles a lot smoother.
