Just noticed this the other day. Not sure how accurate the pic is. Kinda looks like the KR2 with the tread a little more broken up. I'm digging the sidewall. If anybody else has any info post it up.

You are correct. I am on a waiting list for the new mud-terrain, as the previous KM2's have been discontinued, it is in production and to be released mid-June. I'll be getting the 37x12.5R17's.... looking forward to them!

Those are the BFG Baja KR2's they're a beast of a tire

We use them and love them!

Not the one on the far right. The one in the middle says "Mud Terrain KM3" above it.

Nice! I hadn't seen much posted about them yet. That new sidewall is pretty sexy. Looks just like the KR2 sidewall. Can't wait to see pics.

I just spoke with BFG about them on Monday, which is when I was informed about the new tire. Mid-June can't come fast enough :ROFLJest:

Edit....

Sidewall looks great, and they changed the outer tread blocks with just the KR2 style sipes.

So they'll be ready mid September haha. Seems like it always takes a while for the new tires to hit.

Well... I have a BFG claim for dry rot on my original tires, they're covering 77% of the replacement of all 4. Told them I'm not getting tires until the new mud terrains are available. She verified and confirmed with her supervisor that I'll be good on my claim once they are released. Good thing I told her I'm still going to be driving on the current tires/off-roading on them. Glad I put my claim through before I left for Vegas and put 4,600 more miles and chunked the hell out of them!
