NEW: Camburg Raptor TIG 4130 Shackles

We now have our TIG welded version Raptor shackles in-stock ready to ship. The difference between these and our MIG shackles is the material and added processes.They are 4130 chromoly that are TIG welded. We then send them out to be bead-blasted, nickel plated and then stress relieved. We took our standard shackle to the next level. We'll also offer an optional mil-spec 12pt bolt kit for them.

TIG> MIG on Chromoly 4130

The additional price is well worth it for the TIG vs the MIG for the chromoly. Conservative metallurgy will indicate that TIG welding better on the 4130 in addition to being more precise. It will hold up better on the chromoly to the force etc...some debate that the MIG welding on 4130 chromoly is not ideal...I'm not sure that this is accurate but for sure the TIG welded shackles will add that additional assurance.
