Skid Plate Bolts??

Does anyone know where I can find the posts on stripped skid plate bolts? My rear bolts are that way. Just curious of how members have remedied this.

Thanks,
HAP

Joker, that's the one I remember. Thanks for the legwork! I tried but you know how that goes...

I noticed on my first oil change one of my bolts was completely stripped. Weird part not stripped on the threads that actually grip the nut. It appeared the factory did not line up everything correctly and this bolt ran against the skid plate and actually made the plate hole oblong. Anyhow I fixed the alignment and will try and get a new bolt at the dealer even though the current one still holds.

Back when I was removing the skid, we grew in frustration and decided to remove the entire cross bar and used a plasma cutter to make a circle to finally get to the nut. Guess now, I can get to it easier with a ratchet and socket.

The dealer had to order new bolts and clips for mine, they didn't have them in stock.
