I'm looking at a 2010 White Raptor with 37k , 1 owner, CPO. He is asking 37K has the 6.2 and lux package. Would you do this or go for a later build year like 11,12,13. Do any of you with the later years feel you could live without remote start, cooled seats, sun roof, nav, power fold mirrors. Or are those options a must with the Raptor?

My remote start range sucks, so I'll be upgrading it anyway. However I love my cooled seats. I could live without them if I had to, but preventing swamp ass is nice! I rarely use my sunroof, so not really a need.

Everything else you listed you can get aftermarket if you wanted.

The power fold mirrors are very useful to me (required in some car washes) and I use the remote start a fair amount (especially with the frigid winter this year). I could live without nav and cooled seats. I rarely use either. I don't have a sunroof on this truck, but never use them in my other cars.

The cooled seats are really the only thing holding me back. But I've never had them on any of my diesels and I guess not knowing what I'm missing wont hurt me. Thanks

If I didn't own something before that had them or never driven in one with them, I wouldn't miss it.

I think you'll be fine. Try and talk him down though, should be able to get it at $34-35ish.

When i was looking at raptors options where not my priorities. That said i was looking for one that was well maintained and had low miles. I ended up with a 2011 scab with power fold mirrors, heated seats, rear view camera and remote start. Couldnt be a happier even a year later.

Pretty much what I'm doing. If I can find an '11+ SCrew in good condition with less than 50k for <$40k, I'll be in good shape.
