Back on topic
Coils and plugs might be part of the problem of slugish engine
Also check gas/air mix ...injectors might be lil worn or claught

Other items (more painfull) might be slight leaks of the gaskets

I pulled a few plugs on my 5.4L last weekend. Here are a few pics for comparative purposes.

Ironman did you ever replace your coils? Did you go qith accel or stockers. Im cringing at spending $400 vs $200 on coils. But oem probably are the way to go. I already changed plugs. Got 104,000 miles now.
