Interest in Beadlock Wheels?

Stock wheel is 17x8.5 with +34mm offset 6.16 Backspacing
These are 17x10 with a +5mm offset which is a 5.140 Backspace

We have a special version of our Street Series 012 built specifically for the Ford Raptor,
that is 17x9 +8mm which is a 5.257 Backspace. The Beadlock version is slightly wider and will carry the small amount of extra width towards the outer edge of the wheel.

I like american made! That is why I went trail ready and spent 500 a wheel.

We like American Made as well and we definitely enjoy working with Trail Ready. It is a little known fact that we actually build the Trail Ready HD wheels. Working with TR, we will be rolling out the TR Hardrock Series 024 with the same technology and quality that goes into the TR HD Beadlock wheels.

I am very interested. I need more clearance with new UCA from SVC. So, if that would be possible I would be more than happy to take off my current American Eagle wheels and put on some real bead locks.

We have also been making progress on our TR Hardrock wheels, the Series 024 and the street version Series 023.

Here is a picture of the very first casting after some initial rough machining.

I have got a set of T/R HD's and I have just got one question if I run bead locks on the road will I die lol. I am just curious why bead locks can't be dot certified they use the on race trucks, drag cars and military vehicles. My only guess is that its because someone will blow a tire from not monitoring bolt torque on the ring.

It actually has to do more with the bead seat area's profile not meeting the profile specified by the DOT. I would have to speak with our engineers to get you an exact answer but I have seen the legal doc's posted in most of the recent forums discussing DOT/bead locks.

IF you're interested in an absolutely bulletproof, DOT street legal, bead-locking wheel you should look into the B. A. D. wheels (stands for bead assist device)

The genius behind the BAD wheel is that the clamping ring is inside the tire chamber and applies clamping pressure on the tire bead from the rear. (think exact opposite of how a traditional BL works.)

This means that the tire sits on the wheel as any normal, non BL wheel/tire combo would. If you loose clamping pressure the bead is still held in place by traditional means.

Not often you see American companies knocking off Chinese products... But good looking wheel nonetheless
