I just picked up a Blue flame 13 after saying bye bye to my Black 11. I noticed the opposite. The 13 is faster in my opinion than my 11 was. Both SCrews so....

Maybe Ford took a little tune out or changed the trans shift points to make it easier on the trans after the problems they been having.

Funny you say this. My 2011 with 88,*** miles still feels quicker than my dads new 2013. I thought it was just me.

Yes it's true!..... The 10s', built on Wednesdays, only in July, were faster than the 11s' but not 11s' built on Fridays and only coming off the line after 1:00 P.M. but some 12s' , only inspected by Jim were slower than the 14s' built during cloudy days ............. Ha Ha. Really?.
