The EcoBoost campaign for the truck will include 3 massive stress tests on the same engine. One will be pulling logs, logging equipment, pulling stumps, etc. In Oregon (If I remember correct) as part of the first test. That Engine and Transmission will be removed (Not taken apart), and then placed in another truck that will tow up to 11,300lbs for 24 hours at full throttle non stop. Finally, the Engine and Trans will be removed again and placed in the truck that will run the Baja 1000. Once all these have been completed, the Engine and Trans will be taken apart in sections and put on display as proof of Ford's engineering standard.

When (not if) Ford accomplishes this, it will set the new standard for towing, MPG's, effeciency, and quality unlike anything we have ever seen in trucks. After speaking with some friends at Ford, they are beyond optimistic about this powertrain and its capabilities! Good Stuff! :driver:
