I will probably pick your brain about mounting a switch for my rear facing amber D2.
Jeff - This is what I'm working on. Waiting for a larger face plate to arrive. Not sure if I will be able to mount the plate on the rear of the trim due to clearance issues with switch 4 (Lowrance). If I just stuck with the right 3 switches and didn't mind mounting on the front, I probably wouldn't even have to remove the trim. I purchased the switch panel from WiringProducts.com and they will make custom panels too. You can take a trip over the hill to Sparks, NV and visit them. ;)

I want to mount the rigid switch just below the trailer brake...so it seems pretty easy to remove that panel. Hmmm...

But I dig what you are doing...i have a Lowrance coming too...so i need to figure out how to wire that now. Bigg50 said he hard wired it to the cigarette lighter.

the car stereo company is going to have a demo day. it will be thursday may 1st starting around 10am all day and into the evening. if you are in the bay area and want to drop by, we will have food, drinks, and lots of audio equipment to check out. this time the products we have are from mosconi, focal, and audiomobile. reps will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, and you can sit in some vehicles that we have done recently. these range from an entry level upgrade, a mid level upgrade, and the upper level upgrades. also "baller status" is available for your listening pleasure. come join us and get educated on what your audio system is capable of with the right equipment, and get great deals on the newest products. so far we have lined up 4 demo vehicles for you to enjoy and possibly more. dont forget to bring your wife, because we want to make sure you have permission and dont want you to get into trouble. hahahaha.

I brought my wife and looked what happened - my truck is a demo vehicle. :Big Laugh: Looking forward to the party!
