Is that not based on the average of the manufactures total fleet sold that year ??

If so it could be possible
Just limited edition raptor then :)

Also the option of more aftermarket engine swaps like going from an 2,7ecoboost to a 6.6 wipple stroker

I just see options. Just more afermarket :)

I can't see anything in my future except Raptors, now that I've been spoiled. Currently there isn't a vehicle on the market I would rather own. I've never said that in my entire life about anything. Sure I would love a second vehicle (or 3rd, 4th, etc.) that was fast, sexy, and better on gas. But if I could only have one, it would be a Raptor or a similar successor. The Ford Super Chief concept truck was actually the inspiration for buying my Raptor (tri-fuel option sounded interesting).

Daily Driver, Off Road Beast, Chic-Magnet, endless DIY mods, and very unique in a sea of trucks.

I'm not a Ford snob, sure it's my 4th Ford in a row, but I've loved my Jeeps, my Honda, and even a Toyota.

Maybe at 60 I will start thinking about that mid-life crisis car shit.

Can't say it much better than that!

If there is a second version of the Raptor, I may very well get a second one but I'm not parting with the one I have! NEVER! ha ha!

Even if I'm not flying off-road at 85 years old, why not drive a safe, fun vehicle! Unless I can't climb up into any more lol!

That's what worries me... so I traded in the Toyota 86 on the Raptor last week. Until Ford officially confirms a Raptor variant - IMO - get them while they're hot.

I think it would be a challenging one for Ford / SVT. I'm sure it's been successful and I'm sure they want to do it again, the question is can it be done and meet all the regulations?

I hope I'm wrong, I hope there IS a next generation Raptor that's even better, but just in case there isn't, I'm glad I've finally got mine. I just don't like websites like Jalopnik "confirming" that there will be a new Raptor just because it's common sense - but based on no actual facts.

You're wrong. :winner_second_h4h:

There will be a next generation Raptor. For sure (well, as sure as anything is certain until it actually happens). Take it to the bank.

It will be better than the 1st generation. Will every 1st gen owner like it more?

NO WAY.

As I said in this thread: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f5/2...-f150-raptor-svt-30102/index2.html#post592027

Internet vehicle forums are filled with posts critical of the next generation vehicle. All about how it looks like crap, wouldn't buy one, will keep the previous generation, etc., etc.

Then the vehicle comes out and of course it's better than the previous generation and all those naysayers line up to sell/trade their rides for the new one.

This forum will be like the others - filled with expert vehicle critics who end up eating their critical words and buy the next best thing.
