I have an LED whip that fades between 7 different colors. I don't see why this couldn't be implemented into an LED bar? Would be great to run what ever color you wanted. I know I'd upgrade!

Yukon Joe
GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

This can easily be produced, but you are talking double the LED's and that will drive the cost up quickly. This is something we have talked about and may do but we have a few bigger fish frying right now.

You should see quite a few of the existing KC LED lights with amber lenses available fairly soon. We certainly listen and everything is in the works. We will keep you all up to date.

KC, are you talking about snap-on amber lens covers like you recently added for the LZR cubes or actual amber lenses that are part of the light?

I'm 33 and about to turn 34 :(

Actual amber lense that is part of the light. We have snap on covers for some lights but as expressed by some it does cut down the output to a certain degree. These still makes sense for lots of people that want options to use as standard or amber and have the ability to snap on a cover quick. We have the demand for amber lense cubes and bars so we are in process. We will have to do our normal testing and make sure they perform at KC standard.

That's good news! Thanks for giving us a heads-up. Do you have an estimate on timeframe? Some of us getting new trucks may decide to wait on adding fog lights to get the amber lenses. Also, don't forget about adding a wiring harness that will run the pairs on two separate switches.

Hard to say exactly at this point as this project was right behind the new Flex and Gravity series light on the horizon, but I would say February / March.

Wiring harness is noted with separate switch capability.

Now that i'm interested in if I'm reading that correctly. By part of the light you mean it will look clear, but the LED will illuminate amber? I had a set of Rigid Duallys for the front with white/amber lights and the bracket fit like garbage so I sold them. I'd LOVE another quality alternative of white/amber fogs for the front lower bumper opening. I want amber amber though, not yellowish amber, so it matches all the other amber lights on the front of the Raptor.
