I do! a4ubyqy3.jpg

You can't see it on black but it helps protect from rick chips and doesnt really affect appearance on the black raptors

Hmm that's pretty cool! So it's a protective film and not one of those cheap plastic big deflector things right?

I had a grafix shop do my matte hood with two layers,,one covers front up to windshield, second goes from front up about to the hood vents,,can't see the seam from inside , to low on hood and can see from outside because in ends right at the visible horizon of the hood

No, its plastic just like other bug deflectors. It's just thinner and mounts using 3M tape so it looks more flush with the paint than the traditional bug deflector. I think it looks fine on black, but any other color I would just get a clear bra.

I found this. It doesn't look like a skin though but does on Al_41 picture.

Do you have one? Do you like it? Wondering if the entire plastic piece is stuck on with 3M, does it come off easily? I assume if you ever did take it off might be a pain to get it back on without having to do some major cleanup...

I don't have one, but my buddy has one on a normal F150. He likes it but I think it looks worse on normal F150's because of how the hood comes up into the grille. I'd prefer a clear bra/wrap.

The whole thing is stuck on with 3M tape since there is no hardware. Removing 3M tape isn't that hard, just need a little heat. Only hard part would be making sure you don't break the protector itself in the process since it is plastic. Any left over 3M tape or residue is easily removed with 3M Adhesive Remover and a plastic razor blade.

Thanks everyone for the info. I agree it doesn't look that great on a normal F-150 but not that bad on a Raptor. Will look into the cost of the ClearBra option too.

Yuppo pat its black plastic like the vent visor material is. Its sorta see through but has really dark tint to it. It literally blends right in to my paint. I'd say its About 1/8th thick and if you apply it really good it doesnt stick up very far at all

doesn't look bad on black, but any other color definitely go with the clear bra. Covers more area, and way less ugly looking.
