M + R Foglight kit issue

These fog lights have by far the best and I mean best mounting solution out there. I really want to like them but that whole "lights come loose" thing has me worried. Any response from M&R if this is the norm? Don't want to order these only to have them get all loose like in the video that was posted in this thread.

Lock nut with some locktite. I did that on nine and they never moved an inch.

I haven't even read this thread but if them "loosening" up is an issue Loctite will put an end to any sort of problem like that.

The bracket bolt and nut is not what is loosening up. It is the part in between the light body and stainless bracket that is loose. No matter how much locktite, tightening, the whole light itself is loose while the stainless u shaped bracket is tight. . There is one small allen set screw that holds the bracket to the light body. There is no way to tighten it or make it stop rattling like an old Chevy.

Take the allen and the bracket off, fill it with either clear or black silicone,make sure to wipe off the excess. that'll prevent it from loosening.
I also used stainless nuts with the nylon so they don't move

Hey Greg

Try that if it doesn't help ill gladly replace the lights. No reason why bad lights should be out there
