First scheduled production of the 2014's is currently set up for Oct. 28th. If they were to shut production down for 3 weeks prior in order to re-tool, then you can assume that Oct. 7th would be the last date to build a 2013 Raptor. So theoretically late October would be the last date to receive a 2013 or mid November would be the earliest date to get a 2014. I'm liking the idea of getting a 2013 less and less. 3 weeks ago we were told the allocation was ready for our trucks....and now three weeks later it will be at least a full month later of being unscheduled since Ford doesn't schedule allocations until Thursday-Friday. 3 weeks ago, I was okay with a 2013, but getting pulled maybe the first week of September to get built maybe by the last weeks of September, literally almost the last 2013's to come off the line. I may have to just wait another month and get a year newer truck.

Ordering in mid-April for a possible mid-October delivery is retarded. 6 months is an insane amount of time to wait.

why would they really need to shut down the line? without any changes except color. maybe they will do a update of the hubs that many are complaining about.

I thought the 2 week closure in July was to re-tool for 2014s?

How would they re-tool a line for 2014's and then keep making 2013's unless all production end 2013's were basically 2014's. Dunno...I assumed they would close the line again. They did it last year between the 12 and 13.

I agree. It doesn't make sense. But apparently the 2-week closure back in July was for 2014 re-tooling. At least that is what I was told.
