Exact same thing has happened to me too in my 2013 Roush I was driving around 45, slowed to take a left turn, and the truck completely died and low oil pressure warning came on. Shifted to neutral and it immediately started back up. Oil level was perfect, more than half tank of fuel, and no incline involved.

Raptor_Al_41...you have heard its unmetered air causing a shut off, and Roush has a new tune?

Thank you raptor_Al_41! I just emailed Roush. I will let everyone know their answer...

Yes, several members here have had problems from Roush charged systems having unmetered air cause a stall. Most of the time, its backing up or slowing down, so mostly low speed maneuvers cause the engine to stall.

This has happened to me 3 times. Coming to a stop at about 20-30mph. LOP comes up and stalls. Starts right back up. Yesterday driving down the road I lost almost all power. Pulled over looked under the hood and the belt was ate up and some of it was missing. Now back at Jim Burke Ford getting fixed.

How do you know that your stalled engine was caused by not resetting your oil gauge?

BTW .. I have never reset my oil gauge and have never stalled.

I have a '11 SCrew with an aFe CAI and a 5star tune. I've have this happen 3 time so far over a period of 3 years, every time slowing down at a stoplight/sign. I thought I was the only one.
My CAI is open top (Cold Air Intake System Stage-2
aFe Power Magnum FORCE Intake System; Stage 2 Pro 5R; Ford F-150 10-13 V8-6.2L
54-11902-1 - aFe Power) could that be the cause of the airflow issue?:emotions122:

I would doubt the CAI has much to do with it. My truck has done it twice once without airaid and once with. Maybe we can get to the bottom of it

I have a 2013 with 745 miles on it,,,,first time off road today and while climbing some semi steep hills the low oil pressure light came on, engine killed. I had to roll down the hill to level ground to get the light off and then could restart the engine. If I hit the hill faster it went up just fine with no warning lights.

Checked the oil level,,all good, full tank of gas.

I had this happen yesterday for no reason. Just driving down a level residential street. Oil level was fine. Started up once it was turned off.
