I know getting you to Germany may be unrealistic but when I get back to the states I'm going to want a stereo and ever Army base that has Apaches has a simulator and it's too easy to get you in there. Haha.

I am one of the few SWOs with a flight suit. My buddies fly C2's, SH-60's, and 18's. Too easy to have them say "hey the newb needs a ride along" Still trying to ride shotgun in a 18. Messed around in the sims a lot and ironically have a few kills on the guys with those prutty gold wings haha.

Almost took a ship out of Japan, just don't think I could leave the states to live. Dont know how you do it, it would drive me nuts.

Agreed, but after the first 6 months I think I would be tired of it. Already planning on going to San Diego for my carrier tour. From a guy raised in Georgia, California might as well be a foreign county.


Side note RPG is under 2 hours away and Barstow isn't much further... Yep I have looked. haha

I have barely left the states in my life save for a few vacations to the Caribbean so naturally I cannot wait for that first deployment. Need to see the world just to validate how bad ass America is.

How do you like SD by the way? Should be heading that way in a few years after nuke school. ... Yay nuke

SD is awesome. I really cannot find anything to complain about. There are stupid things but they usually originate from the state of CA. Like the high gas prices, 3.99 for 87 right now and that is on base. Also, the traffic and higher taxes and ridiculous housing market. I know its a ways away but hit me up if you have any questions of living areas both renting and buying. Hopefully I will be here for at least 8 more years. There is no where else I'd rather be i.e. Nah-**** (Norfolk)

Awesome man good to hear! Gas here is 3.38 but on base I filled up for 3.14 which is freaking sick. Norfolk really isn't as bad as people say. I live on the beach right now on the bay side and it is great. Alot like P-cola. Commute is 15-20 minutes for me using back roads which is great. Lots of hot women, some ask what team you are on and I just laugh at them. Classy individuals.

But yea Norfolk isnt going to be forever. Charleston in 20 months tops then a year later carrier tour as a nuke. I will be heading out west for that and I will be dammed if I go to Everett. I will be hitting you up when I get closer to looking that way. I would definitely be renting since I more than likely will be ducking out after 5 years and using nuke school to get me a decent job.
